Sometimes the detectors are simply too high to reach with standard ladders or step stools. Sometimes folks are physically unable to safely access their detectors.

The batteries on your detectors can run low (which always seems to happen in the middle of the night!) which can endanger your family and home, and become a troubling nuisance if you are unable to change it.
